You don't actually need a capture card to record PS4 games. The PS4 has a Share feature which lets you record,and theres an app called Sharefactory which lets you edit and render your videos. It's nothing special, but I use it for my videos.

Yeah ive seen the ps4 stuff. Isn't the quality better when using the capture card though? Also i would be using a capture card for streaming and for older stuff like the xbox 360.

Your welcome! Honestly I haven't seen any drop in quality while using it. Streaming isn't possible yet as far as I know however.
