Otherwise, asking for subs is against forum rules and can result in a warning from the mods. You can advertise yourself once you get your partner badge (learn here!) and post in the content section, where you can show people your videos, and potentially draw in more viewers.

If you're really wanting to draw more attention to your channel, social media would be the way to go. Communicate often and make sure to go around and talk in forums. Be helpful, though, as nobody takes kindly to anyone asking for a handout or spamming your channel.
Share your content with just your friends, eventually build it to another, larger fan-base and upload good content.
